VCOrganizer 8 New Features Highlights

VCOrganizer 8 New Features Highlights

Social Network

Build-in Chat App () , which allows user to easily send messages (including Voices, Images, Texts, ..etc to your friends).  You can also encrypt these data before sending to internet.  Not only the communication channel is secured, the data which sends to the server is also encrypted.

Collaboration

The New Chat App is fully integrated the Notes, Tasks, Contacts and Calendar Apps. That's means you can share your tasks, events, notes or contacts to your friends or partners (in Read-Only mode or Read-Write mode).  For the items you have shared (even in Read-Only mode),  the recipients can also add comments which can be viewed by all other recipients.

For example, if you have an event in your VCOrganizer Calendar which links to a few tasks in VCOrganizer Tasks app using SmartLink. These tasks need to be completed by different people before the start of the event. You can assign these tasks to different people. When they complete the tasks on their devices, it will also update the corresponding tasks on your device. If they have any questions, they can also add comments to the tasks.

Real-Time / Remote Outlook Sync

Sync with remote Outlook client over internet in Real-Time. With the Real-Time sync enabled, when you insert/update/delete items in VCO, it will update to your Outlook clients (at home or office) immediately. You don't need any public IP address. Of course,  the data can also be encrypted before sending.

Share Data with Multiple Devices

You can selectively sync items in VCOrganizer on one device to the other devices.  For example, you have a phone and two tablets devices. When you sync items from Outlook to your phone, these items will be synced to these two tablets. When you update the items in these tablets, they can be synced back to your phone and Outlook also. These two tablets need to run either VCOrganizer App or vcCalendar App.

  2. Is it possible to "complete" a task from the notification screen (versus having to first select "open" then check the completed check box and finally close the task)?

  6. what is the reason that the new version requires the right "adding events and sending emails without the owner's knowledge"?

    1. Hi Iris, we haven't added any new permissions regarding the adding events or sending email.

These are the basic features that we need for VCO to work. When you need to sync events to your Android native calendars, you need the "add event" permission (android.permission.READ_CALENDAR). When you need to access the WiFi to sync, you need the WiFi permission (android.permission.INTERNET) . That may be the reason why you see email.

These permissions are there since the very early release. Otherwise, you won't be able to do the WiFi Sync or sync with android native Calendar.

      Thank you for your comments.

      Regards,
      David.

  7. I am using the free version. When I went through the set up, the app posted a test event to my calendar (digical)? It worked fine as well as adding a test contact to my contactlist. JHowever, when I finished set up, the event is not showing up within this app's calendar. Why? What am I doing wrong.

Also, if I purchase the full app, will it log my communication with my contacts? For instance, will the app note that I called or emailed a contact on a certain date... Automatically?

    1. The test events will only be created in the Android native Calendar. If you can see the event in your "digical", you can go to VCO Calendar app and create a new event. When you create a new event in VCO Calendar, you should see the event in "digical" too.

I am sorry that we don't automatically send email.

You can purchase the full version. For your case, we can provide 30 days money back guarantee. Please send an email to support@vecal.biz before you purchase it so that we can keep an record. If you don't like it, you can cancel the order within 30 days of your purchase.

Does the product need a phone in the mix or will I be able to sync the outlook stuff from the laptop to the tablet with this app?
